I came in not knowing what I was facing or what I even needed to ask. Theerapat listened for a long time before saying anything, and when he did speak it was clear and honest. I left the first session with a written summary and a much calmer head. I ended up taking the full service — but having that first conversation with no pressure made all the difference to how I felt about the whole process.

We needed a separation agreement drafted and didn't want anything adversarial. Naphatson handled the whole correspondence side and kept the tone reasonable throughout. There was one point where things got tense with the other party's solicitor — she managed that quietly and it didn't escalate. The document was done in about six weeks. Very capable team.

I only wanted to understand my options before making any decisions. The Conversation Session was exactly that — a private, thoughtful discussion about my situation. Suphanat helped me prepare beforehand, and Theerapat gave me a genuinely honest read on what the law says and what it doesn't. I left with the written notes and felt I actually understood my situation for the first time. Worth every baht.

My custody matter was complicated by the fact that my ex-partner had moved abroad. Theerapat was straightforward about how the Thai courts handle cross-border situations — he didn't oversell what was possible, which I respected. The process took longer than either of us hoped, but I always knew where things stood. The closing report was detailed and useful. I'd recommend them to anyone in a similar position.

I found the process well managed. Naphatson drafted the agreement carefully — it took a few rounds of revision with the other side, but she kept things moving without pushing too hard. I would have liked slightly faster turnaround on one or two points, but overall the outcome was what we needed and the tone throughout was much better than I'd feared it might be.

They helped us reach an arrangement for our children that I actually think is good for them — not just legally valid, but considered and humane. That took patience on their part. When I was uncertain or slowed down, they didn't push. The whole experience was better than I expected a legal process to feel.

A closer look at three matters

Details have been changed to protect privacy. These accounts are shared with full consent.

Case Study 01 — Custody Arrangement

The situation

A mother in Bangkok sought guidance after separating from her partner. Both parents wanted to remain involved with their two children, but had reached an impasse on arrangements. The relationship between them was tense, and direct communication had broken down.

What we did

We began with a Conversation Session to map the legal position and her options. She then engaged our Document and Agreement Support. We drafted a proposed co-parenting arrangement, managed all written communication with the other party's representation, and revised the document across three rounds until agreement was reached.

Outcome

A signed co-parenting agreement within approximately seven weeks of instruction. The arrangement addressed school terms, holidays, and regular contact — all without court proceedings. Both parents were able to remain on civil terms.

"I didn't think we'd reach an agreement. Naphatson managed the correspondence in a way that kept things from getting worse. We got there." — Client, April 2025

Case Study 02 — Contested Family Matter

The situation

A gentleman came to us mid-way through a contested family matter that had already been partially handled by a different firm. He was unhappy with how things were proceeding and uncertain whether the advice he'd received was sound. He wanted a clear second opinion and, if appropriate, new representation.

What we did

We conducted a thorough Conversation Session reviewing the history and current position. Following that, he instructed us to take over full representation. We reviewed all existing filings, identified two issues with the prior approach, and adjusted the strategy with his agreement. We attended subsequent hearings at Bangkok Family Court.

Outcome

The matter was resolved at the third court hearing with an outcome broadly in line with his position. Total time from our instruction to resolution: approximately four months. A closing report summarising the order and its implications was provided within the week.

"He told me honestly what he thought was wrong with how things had been handled. That honesty is what made me trust him." — Client, March 2025

Case Study 03 — First Consultation Only

The situation

A woman in her forties was considering separation but hadn't made any decisions. She wanted to understand what her legal position would be and what the process would involve before discussing anything with her husband or family. She wasn't ready to engage a lawyer formally — she simply wanted information.

What we did

We held a single Family Conversation Session by video call, at her request. The conversation covered her likely legal position, the general process and timeline for a separation under Thai law, and what the financial picture might look like. No pressure was placed on her to proceed further. She received the written summary after the call.

Outcome

She decided not to proceed with any formal action at that time. She wrote to us several months later to say that having that clarity had helped her make a considered decision, and that she might return if circumstances changed. That, to us, is a successful outcome.

"I just needed to understand the landscape. The session gave me that without making me feel I had to do anything." — Client, February 2025
